Ducks Unlimited Banquet - Eagle Chapter

We had a nice time attending the Ducks Unlimited Banquet (Eagle Chapter) this weekend with Josh and Kandice.

Senator Crapo attended and was presented an award from the (National) Ducks Unlimited organization for his efforts in support of wildlife and wetland conservation and preservation.

Luck was on our side during the sponsor raffle when Jeremy won a shotgun! ~

Tubing at Bogus Basin

My nephew Davin and I went tubing at Bogus Basin for his 8th birthday. The hill was really fast and we had a great time. As you can see in the pictures, it involved almost no work because the cable towed our tube back to the top of the hill (passenger included)!

The weather and the scenery were beautiful. ~

Happy Valentine's Day!

I surprised Jeremy with tickets to the BSU Basketball game for Valentine's Day. (I'm embarrased to say that we've lived here almost a year now and this is the first time that we have ever been to a BSU Basketball game. Things are just harder to find time to do when you live in Boise instead of just visit.)

We ran into my friend Nancy Naramore and her sons as well our friends Howard and JoEllen Crane from Twin Falls who had driven up for the evening to watch Reggie Larry play. Some of you may know that the Cranes were a CSI booster family during the two years we were a CSI booster family and we did a lot of traveling with them to road games so it was nice to run into them. We didn't have much time to catch up though as we were headed out the door to have dessert and coffee at Starbucks. What a great Valentine's Day. ~
